When Did It Become Socially Acceptable to Share How Much Money You Make?

Have I overlooked something? Is it now socially acceptable to boast about one’s earnings? To my knowledge, it should not be.

Simply put, one should not share the amount of money they make with others.

No one cares, and chances are, most people exaggerate their income anyway.

Why do some people do it?

Are they trying to brag?

Or are they feeling proud and want to make it known?

Clickbait maybe?

It’s a question we all ask ourselves: is it socially acceptable to boast about our earnings?

As with many things in life, the answer isn’t always clear-cut. There are those who believe it’s out of date and unacceptable, while others think it’s perfectly normal to share your financial status with others.
