As adults, it can sometimes feel like the weight of the world is on our shoulders.

Between our careers, family, and other commitments, there are often times when we just don’t want to do something — so, we find an excuse. But why is it so easy for us to find an excuse, and why are we more likely to do it as adults?

Doing things we do not want to do is how we grow! Because what is life without the feelings that come with being uncomfortable!

It’s easier to find excuses when we’re adults

When we become adults, it can be easier to find excuses to avoid doing something. We often use excuses to dodge an unpleasant task or responsibility and instead focus our time and attention on something more enjoyable.
