With English being so often used in business, it is crucial to focus on improving multicultural communication. Better communication leads to better relationships, and by understanding the importance of effective communication, we can build stronger connections and avoid misunderstandings in the workplace.

While having a good command of English is a solid foundation, it is only one aspect of successful multicultural communication.

Instead, be patient and provide clear explanations when necessary.

My Lessons from Four Years of Working in Multicultural Teams

Patience is the key when working with multicultural teams. In my four years of experience, I have learned that listening for understanding, rather than listening to respond, is crucial.
